Crews Earns First Truck Series Pole

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. — Brent Crews earned the pole for Friday afternoon’s Bully Hill Vineyards 176 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race during qualifying at Watkins Glen Int’l.

Driving the No. 1 TRICON Garage Toyota, Crews turned a lap of 70.222 seconds at 125.602 mph to earn his first career pole in the series.

“I had a lot of good sim work and our practice today went really well,” Crews said. “Everything has just been really smooth so far and that’s the way you want it out here. It’s cold out here, the track is fast and our truck is fast too.”

Ty Majeski, the 2024, series champion, qualified second in a ThorSport Racing Ford.

Daniel Hemric, Conor Mosack and Connor Zilisch completed the top five in Chevrolets.
