King of the Hammers co-founder Dave Cole is selling off the Ultra4 Regional Series to Mid America Outdoors owners Jason and Gayla Robinett.
In a letter to racers and the off-road community, Cole stated this will be a transitional process as assets are separated. Effective immediately, the Robinetts will take owner of the Ultra4 brand and Vimeo racing channel. Cole will continue owner of King of the Hammers, Great American Shortcourse and Ultra4 Europe.
“I am excited to see what the Robinetts and their team can bring to the series. They have incredible plans for the future and have already built a world-class facility in Oklahoma,” said Cole.
Cole also says he is restructuring HammerKing Productions and will begin focusing on a new project Ultra4 Tours which he will release more information in the future on. Cole will also retain the entire staff that works with him throughout the year.
As for Ultra4 Regional series, J.T. Taylor returns as the race director.
