Austin Prock wrapped up the regular season championship by winning the U.S. Nationals for the second consecutive season. It was his seventh NHRA Funny Car triumph of the campaign. He enters the Countdown to the Championship as the No. 1 seed.

Bobby Pierce did not race over the Labor Day weekend, but he enters World 100 week at Ohio’s Eldora Speedway with 29 overall late model victories this season. Last Week: 1
- Ryan Timms
Ryan Timms won the regular season finale at Huset’s Speedway and finished sixth in Sunday night’s World of Outlaws feature there. He’s won 13 410 sprint car features this season including the Knoxville Nationals. Last Week: 2
- Rico Abreu
Rico Abreu won all three High Limit Racing sprint car features at Washington’s Skagit Speedway over the weekend. Abreu banked $156,000 over the three-day period and has won 16 sprint car races this season. Last Week: Not Ranked
- Alex Palou
Four-time IndyCar Series champion Alex Palou finished second in Sunday’s season-ending Music City Grand Prix at Nashville Superspeedway. He has eight victories this season. Last Week: 4
- Carson Macedo
Carson Macedo has won 11 sprint car features this season, including 11 with the World of Outlaws. Macedo finished third Sunday at Huset’s Speedway. Last Week: 5
- Connor Zilisch
NASCAR Xfinity Series rookie Connor Zilisch won his eighth race of the season Saturday afternoon at Portland (Ore.) Int’l Raceway. Last Week: Not Ranked
- Ricky Thornton Jr.
Ricky Thornton Jr. won the Hillbilly 100 at Lernerville Speedway one week after claiming the Rumble by the River at Port Royal Speedway. He also won a feature during Sunday’s Baltes Classic at Eldora Speedway and has 22 wins this season. Last Week: Not Ranked.
- Oscar Piastri
Formula 1 point leader Oscar Piastri picked up his seventh victory of the season in Sunday’s Dutch Grand Prix and extended his point lead. Last Week: Not Ranked.
- David Gravel
World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series point leader David Gravel has won 13 features this season, including 12 with the series. Last Week: 7
On The Move: NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series point leader Corey Heim has won eight races this season.
