ZIONSVILLE, Ind. — Mobil 1 has extended its sponsorship with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing in a multi-year deal, the team revealed Monday.
The deal includes being the primary sponsor of Graham Rahal’s NTT IndyCar Series entry at The Thermal Club race in Thermal, Calif. on March 23, as well as full season associate sponsorship of his entry.
The brand will also continue as the Official Lubricants Partner of the IndyCar Series team.
“We are delighted to extend our relationship with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing and are looking forward to the journey ahead,” said Jei Gort, Global Sponsorships and Motorsports at ExxonMobil. “After more than a decade of absence, we are thrilled to bring Mobil 1 back to IndyCar and supporting the team in driving exceptional performance on the track. We appreciate Bobby Rahal and the team’s commitment to making this possible.”

“We are proud to continue our partnership with an iconic brand such as Mobil 1,” said Bobby Rahal, co-owner of Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing with David Letterman and Mike Lanigan. “Their industry-leading brand continues to innovate and is a tremendous resource for us.”
The Mobil Delvac brand will also be featured on Rahal’s race cars throughout the season.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Mobil 1 motor oil in 2024, RLL ran a specially-designed livery with distinct elements of the brand in anniversary gold on Rahal’s No. 15 entry at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in California. Other anniversary liveries were seen in Formula 1, NASCAR, IMSA, NHRA, MotoGP and more. For this year the livery will feature the classic colors and look of the Mobil 1 brand.
