Sprint Rankings: Macedo Takes The Early Lead

All seven regions are open and 11 drivers have reached the 20-start requirement to be eligible for the National Sprint Car Rankings.

The national sandings are based on average finishing positions in A-Mains.

Carson Macedo, who has made 22 starts, is at the top of the National Sprint Car Rankings with an average finish of 5.136. Chase Dietz, who leads the nation in victories with six, ranks second at 6.476, while Danny Dietrich, Sheldon Haudenschild and Logan Schuchart round out the top five.

Commissioned by Tom Deery and Brian Carter in 2009, the Sprint Car Rankings are administered by longtime racing official Gary Spaid.

Four hundred and 29 drivers have competed in a 410 sprint car feature this season. Forty-eight drivers have combined to win 84 features this season.

Regional leaders are Aaron Reutzel (Western), Michael “Buddy” Kofoid (Mid-America), Cale Thomas (Great Lakes) Austin McCarl (Great Plains), Tyler Thompson (Northwestern) and Jacob Bergenwald (PA-OH).
