It’s All Nienhiser In Lincoln MOWA Affair

LINCOLN, Ill. — Paul Nienhiser continued his winning ways on Friday night by besting the field of 22 Midwest Open Wheel Ass’n sprint car competitors at Lincoln Speedway.

Nienhiser started from the outside pole position and jumped to the lead on the opening lap of the 25-lap affair.

After scoring a heat race victory in dominating fashion, Nienhiser drew the “2” pill during the night’s redraw, which put him in the right spot leading into the evening’s A-Main. The

front row of the A-Main was made up of the two most recent winners at Lincoln with Tyler Duff on the pole, alongside Nienhiser.

Duff was victorious in the 2025 running of the “Night Before the Mile”, while Nienhiser scored a win back in June.

At the drop of the green flag, Nienhiser got the jump on Duff and quickly found the preferred line around the quarter-mile oval. Setting his car up to run the high side, Nienhiser’s lead quickly expanded. Action all throughout the field kept the fans entertained.

Behind Nienhiser, a group of cars including Tyler Duff, Jordan Goldesberry and Jake Neuman battled back and forth for second through fourth. Neuman started fourth and had settled into third rather quickly, with his sights on Duff for the runner-up spot.

Duff and Neuman battled back and forth for a number of laps, with the current points leader ultimately securing the spot on lap 20. Further in the field, Zach Daum had moved forward from his tenth starting spot to fifth after falling back as far as 12th.

Nienhiser maneuvered through lapped traffic, making his way all the way up to the sixth position, in an event that saw no cautions and went green-to-checkered in five minutes and 45 seconds.

He crossed under the checkers ahead of Jake Neuman by 5.553 seconds. Tyler Duff, Jordan Goldesberry and Zach Daum rounded out the top five.
