BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — Johnny Herrera Racing will have a new driver when it rolls into Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 for this weekend’s World of Outlaws NOS Energy Sprint Car Series main event.
The team has parted ways with one teenager and hired another in his place with Landon Crawley taking the seat of the No. 45x winged sprint car.
Crawley recently parted ways with Michael Dutcher Motorsports and joins Herrera’s operation immediately.
“We would like to thank Jace and his family for their dedication and contribution to the team during their time with us,” Herrera said in a statement. “While we acknowledge the hard work and passion Jace brought to ever race, the team has decided to move forward with a new approach for the remainder of the season. We wish Jace the best in all future endeavors.”
Crawley ran the full World of Outlaws schedule with Jason Sides Motorsports last season before joining the Dutcher team during the off season.
