SEALED UNDER PRESSURE: Denny Hamlin Wins The NASCAR All-Star

$1 Million!

That was what was on the line in Sunday’s NASCAR All-Star Race at Dover Motor Speedway, and when all was said and done one of the sport’s all-time great drivers added it to his bank account.

Denny Hamlin dodge debris and crashing race cars throughout the annual event, which was before a large crowd at the famed one-mile concrete oval known as the Monster Mile.

Hamlin won the pole during qualifying and led 103 laps en route to winning the prestigious event for the second time in his illustrious career.

Hamlin passed Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota driver Chase Briscoe for the lead and led the final 29 laps beating Briscoe to the checkered flag by .887 seconds. Hamlin previously won the All-Star Race in Charlotte Motor Speedway in 2015.
