Gurley Breaks Through In Great Lakes Sprints

QUINCY, Mich. — Corbin Gurley earned his first Great Lakes Super Sprints feature victory Saturday night at Butler Motor Speedway.

Gurley hit the track with his pedal to the floor. Starting from fifth position in the redraw, he knew he had to work hard to reach the top, and he did exactly that.

The race saw a fierce battle among Gurley, Phil Gressman and Max Stambaugh.

In the final five laps, Gurley managed to overtake Gressman and with just a couple of laps left, he took the lead from race leader Stambaugh.
