Brad Sweet To The Top In Latest Sprint Car Rankings

World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series point leader Brad Sweet has jumped to the top of the National Sprint Car Rankings.

Now, with 21 starts under his belt, Sweet has reached the 20-start requirement and is eligible for the rankings for the first time this season.

Sweet, with only one victory so far, has an average finish of 5.905 to top the 21 drivers now eligible for the rankings.

Carson Macedo is second in the standings with a 6.522 average finish in 23 starts, while Anthony Macri is third with a 6.577 average finish in 26 races.

Macri leads the Eastern region with 1,058 points and a national-best eight victories.

With another victory this weekend, Dominic Scelzi remains at the top of the Western region standings. There were no changes in the Mid-America region with Kasey Burch and Jeff Asher atop the points.

Cole Macedo retained the lead in the Great Lakes region, with Austin McCarl holding serve atop the Great Plains points.

Sye Lynch leads the PA-Ohio region.

Fifty-six drivers have combined to win 104 features run this season.

Four hundred and ninety-nine drivers have run at least one 410 winged sprint car race this season.
