Bowling Sets The FR Americas Pace

BOWMANVILLE, Ontario — Jett Bowling will guide the Formula Regional Americas Championship presented by Mosport Karting Centre (FR Americas) field down the starting grid for Race 1 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

With a 1:13.770 lap, Bowling (No. 22 Bullhorn / Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3) shattered the existing track record, set by 2024 Champion Patrick Woods-Toth, by more than a second.

The fastest of the Kiwi Motorsport quartet, Bowling’s qualifying effort secured his second pole of the 2025 season.

Following an on-track incident in practice, championship points leader Bruno Ribeiro (No. 01 Alfa Cem / Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3) missed the qualifying session.

After Thursday’s rain-filled test day, the drivers were eager to get on track for this morning’s sole practice session. Titus Sherlock (No. 31 Rayne Nutrition / Ronald McDonald House Charities / Crosslink Motorsports Ligier JS F3) set the pace with a 1:14.538 lap.

Bruno Ribeiro followed close behind, as less than a second separated the top six as they rushed toward the line.
