Sprint Rankings: Dietz On Top, Top Seven Is Tight

Forty drivers are now eligible for the National Sprint Car Rankings and the top seven are separated by four-tenths of a point.

Pennsylvania sprint car ace Chase Dietz has moved to the top of the rankings with an average finish of 5.233. High Limit Racing driver Aaron Reutzel is close behind with an average finish of 5.393.

David Gravel, Troy Wagaman Jr., Carson Macedo, Buddy Kofoid and Rico Abreu complete the top seven, with Abreu checking in with a 5.640 average finish.

Five hundred and 23 drivers have run at least one 410 winged sprint car feature this season.

Cap Henry has moved to the point in the Great Lakes region, while Trey Starks has taken command in the Northwestern region.

Justin Sanders has taken command in the Western region, Austin McCarl has returned to the top spot in the Great Plains region and Western PA Speedweek champion A.J. Flick has taken control in the PA-OH stanza.

Other regional leaders are Carson McCarl (Great Plains), A.J. Flick (PA-OH), Dietz (Eastern), Macedo (Mid-America) and Justin Sanders (Western).

Seventy-five drivers have combined to win 152 features run this season.

Reutzel leads the country with 10 victories.
