Yankowski Snags $31,076 Freedom 76 Check

BECHTELSVILLE, Pa. — Alex Yankowski outmaneuvered track champion Jeff Strunk to win the 54th annual Freedom 76 modified race at Grandview Speedway Saturday night.

Yankowski used a lap-47 restart to pass Strunk and led the remainder of the 76-lap event on the third-mile dirt track for the biggest win of his career.

Yankowski fought his way forward from 10th-starting position, then battled past Kevin Hirthler and eventually Strunk to capture the $31,062 payday.

Following Yankowski to the finish were Hirthler, Eddie Strada, Ryan Watt and Brandon Grosso.

A massive field of 73 T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds signed in to compete in the season-ending program.
