BARRE, Vt. — After several exciting weeks of preparation and anticipation, the American-Canadian Tour and Milton CAT jointly announced Monday an expanded partnership between the region’s top Late Model touring series and the northeast Caterpillar dealer.
This entitlement package has quickly made way for improvement across the board, headlined by a soon-to-be-announced point fund increase for drivers.
As part of the title partnership, North America’s most historic Late Model Tour has undergone a complete rebrand and will be known as the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour throughout the length of the agreement.
This year, the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour is set for one of its most expansive schedules in recent memory with 14 point-counting events alongside the non-point Vermont Milk Bowl at Barre, Vermont’s Thunder Road Speedbowl.

Highlighted by three trips to the Province of Quebec, special big-money showdowns at Seekonk Speedway, Circuit Ste-Croix, White Mountain Motorsports Park and Autodrome Montmagny, the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour is set to showcase some of the best stock car racing events in the region this summer.
“We are very excited and proud to expand our already solid relationship with Milton CAT,” said ACT managing partner Cris Michaud. “Alongside their continued link with the Midsummer Classic 250 at White Mountain, the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour will continue to bring our international fanbase some of the best stock car racing in North America this summer and beyond.”
“Our involvement in the Midsummer Classic over the last few years was a great first step to becoming more involved with the American-Canadian Tour” added Milton CAT Director of Marketing Dean Swartz, “so many of our customers and employees expressed their appreciation of our involvement, it just made a lot of sense to do more.
“We look forward to supporting the great racing of ACT and seeing where we can take the partnership.”
