CORNING, Iowa — Jesse Sobbing led all but two laps en route to winning the Ray Houck Late Model Showdown at Adams County Speedway Saturday night.
The event was sanctioned by the Malvern Bank East Series.
Sobbing started on the pole and lost the point to Bill Leighton Jr. during the middle of the event but rebounded to claim the $4,000 triumph.
Leighton finished second, with Tad Pospisil, Dallon Murty and Dylan Thornton following.
