HARLAN, Iowa — Jesse Sobbing claimed $10,000 for winning the Prelude to the Silver Dollar Nationals Wednesday night at Shelby County Speedway.
The event, which is a lead in to three nights of racing for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, was sanctioned by the Malvern Bank East Series.
Sobbing grabbed the lead from Tad Pospisil on a lap-six restart and led the remainder of the 40-lap event for the victory.
Dylan Thornton came home second, with Pospisil, Blair Nothdurft and Jake Neal completing the top five.
