FARMER CITY, Ill. — DIRTcar Summer National champion Jason Feger wrestled the lead away from Justin Duty on the fifth lap and went on to earn his third MARS Late Model Series win of the year Friday at Farmer City Raceway.
Last season’s rookie of the year, Duty kept Feger within
his sights, but came up short by 0.759 seconds at the stripe. Feger, to the delight of his hometown fans, picked up a check for $5,000 in the 40-lap feature race.
Shannon Babb finished in third, as Mike Spatola outdueled Tony Jackson Jr. for fourth.
