DeFrance Memorial Goes To Jake Neal

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa — Jake Neal raced from the pole to win Friday night’s Dale DeFrance Memorial dirt late model race at Marshalltown Speedway.

Neal held off Dylan Thornton to win the race, which was sanctioned by the Malvern Bank East and West Series, for the second time. He banked $4,500 for the triumph.

Chad Simpson finished third, with Tim Ward and Jesse Sobbing completing the top five.
