McDowell Banks $21,000 Tazewell Prize

TAZEWELL, Tenn. — Dale McDowell started on the pole and led aal 75 laps of Saturday night’s Lil’ Bill Corum Memorial at Tazewell Speedway.

McDowell earned $21,000 for winning the race, which was sanctioned by the Schaeffer’s Spring Nationals.

Brandon Overton finished second, with Cory Hedgecock, Donald McIntosh and Scott Bloomquist rounding out the top five.

McDowell was the fast qualifier for the 27-car field with a lap of 11.786 seconds.
