Hurricane Remnants Cancel Late Model Visit To Pittsburgh

MPERIAL, Pa. — Due to the unfavorable weekend forecast from the remnants of Hurricane Ian, Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway and Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series officials have mutually agreed to cancel Saturday’s portion of the 34th Annual Pittsburgher.

Friday night’s Bill Hendren Memorial at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway is still on as scheduled.

The RUSH Late Model Series event boasts a $4,000 top prize. The General Admission gates will open at 5:00 p.m.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will head to Talladega Short Track is Eastaboga, Ala. on Saturday, Oct. 8th, with a complete show of Dirt Draft Hot Laps, Allstar Performance Time Trials, heat races, B-Mains and a 50-lap, $15,000-to-win main event.
