RICHMOND, Va. — Point leader Corey Heim won his fourth consecutive NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series pole position during qualifying Friday afternoon for the evening’ eero 250 at Richmond Raceway.
Heim drove the TRICON Garage No. 11 Toyota to a lap of 23.095 seconds at 116.908 mph on the three-quarter-mile track to earn his fifth pole of the season and the 12th of his 82-race career.
Reigning Richmond winner and series champion Ty Majeski will start second in the No. 98 ThorSport Ford.
Layne Riggs claimed third starting position in a Front Row Motorsports Ford.
Grant Enfinger starts fourth in a CR7 Motorsports Chevrolet, with Chandler Smith fifth in a Spire Motorsports Chevy.
Chandler Smith, Matt Crafton, Jake Garcia, Christian Eckes and Daniel Hemric fill out the top-10 qualifiers.
