It’s time for a new edition of SPEED SPORT Power Rankings. Who will be on top this week?

1. Bobby Pierce

While Bobby Pierce did not win the Prairie Dirt Classic, he did win a pair of features at Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway last week, giving him 23 overall dirt late model victories this season. Pierce also leads the World of Outlaws Late Model Series standings. Last Week: 1

2. Rico Abreu

Rico Abreu won his 11th sprint car feature of the season Saturday night at Knoxville Raceway, setting him up as a favorite to win the upcoming 360 and 410 Knoxville Nationals. Last Week: 2

3. Alex Palou

Alex Palou dominated Sunday’s NTT IndyCar Series race at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in California. The series point leader has won eight of the 14 events this season. Last Week: 3

4. Anthony Macri

Pennsylvania sprint car driver Anthony Macri banked $200,000 for winning the 42^nd running of the Kings Royal at Ohio’s Eldora Speedway. Macri followed it up by winning the World of Outlaws feature at BAPS Motor Speedway in his home state. Macri has won 10 features this season. Last Week: 5

5. Denny Hamlin

Denny Hamlin leads the NASCAR Cup Series with four victories this season. He drove from 39^th to finish third in Sunday’s Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Last Week: 4

6. Connor Zilisch

NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Connor Zilisch scored his third consecutive victory for JR Motorsports Saturday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Zilisch has five series victories this season. Last Week: 9

7. David Gravel

World of Outlaws point leader David Gravel dominated Sunday night’s race at Weedsport Speedway to earn his 11^th victory of the season. Last Week: 10

8. Oscar Piastri

Formula 1 point leader Oscar Piastri drove to his sixth victory of the season Sunday in Belgium, extending his series point lead to 16 markers over Lando Norris. Last Week: Not Ranked

9. Austin Prock

NHRA Funny Car point leader Austin Prock turned in a dominant performance to earn his fifth victory of the season Sunday at California’s Pomona Raceway. Last Week: Not Ranked

10. Jett Lawrence

Pro Motocross Championship point leader Jett Lawrence has won seven of the eight events during the summer series. Last Week: 8

What To Watch For?: It’s a two-week period for racing in the state of Iowa. It starts this weekend with NASCAR’s return to Iowa Speedway the Knoxville 360 Nationals at nearby Knoxville Raceway.
