It’s time for a new edition of SPEED SPORT Power Rankings. Who will be on top this week?

  1. Alex Palou

Alex Palou returned to the top of the power rankings after collecting his sixth NTT IndyCar Series victory of the season, including the Indianapolis 500, Sunday at Road America. Last Week: 7

  1. Bobby Pierce

Bobby Pierce won a preliminary feature during the Firecracker Faceoff at I-55 Federated Auto Parts Raceway Park. It was his 18th dirt late model feature victory this season. Last Week: 1

  1. Buddy Kofoid

Buddy Kofoid is the big money winner in the 410 winged sprint car world this season. Kofoid picked up a $100,000 and a $250,000 triumph at South Dakota’s Huset’s Speedway over the weekend. Kofoid, who has seven triumphs this season, also earned $55,555 for winning the Eagle Nationals several weeks ago. Last Week: Not Ranked

  1. Jonathan Davenport

Jonathan Davenport, who won the Dirt Late Model Dream two weeks ago, topped Saturday’s Firecracker 100 at Pennsylvania’s Lernerville Speedway, earning another $40,000. Last Week: 8

World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series point leader David Gravel has won nine features this season. Last Week:2

  1. Oscar Piastri

McLaren driver Oscar Piastri finished fourth in the Canadian Grand Prix at Montreal’s Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. The series point leader has won five grands prix this year. The season resumes this weekend with the Austrian Grand Prix. Last Week: 5

  1. Greg Anderson

Six-time NHRA Pro Stock champion Greg Anderson had the weekend off from competition. He leads the Pro Stock standings and has won four races this season. Last Week: 4

  1. Justin Grant

Justin Grant won a trio of USAC sprint car features and the Eastern Storm miniseries championship. Grant has won a total of nine races combined in USAC’s three national touring series this season. Last Week: Not Ranked

  1. Rico Abreu

Rico Abreu has won eight winged sprint car features this season, with victories with both the World of Outlaws and High Limit Racing.  Last Week: 3

  1. Kyle Larson

Kyle Larson finished seventh in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Pocono Raceway and he won a World of Outlaws feature on Wednesday night. Larson is a three-time NASCAR Cup Series winner and has victories in numerous other series this season. Last Week: 10

On The Move: Buddy Kofoid jumped to third in the power rankings after winning a pair of high-dollar purses at South Dakota’s Huset’s Speedway. He’s a seven-time feature winner this season.

What To Watch For?: NHRA is back in action for a second consecutive week, can Austin Prock build on the momentum of a victory at Virginia Motorsports Park?

Dropped Out: Indy car driver Kyle Kirkwood and motocross star Jett Lawrence fell out of the power rankings this week.
