Tragedy Stops Texas World Of Outlaws Tilt

KENNEDALE, Texas — Saturday night’s finale of the Cowtown Classic for the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series was postponed following a tragic accident at the track.

World of Outlaws issued the following statement on Saturday night:

“While officials were responding to an incident at Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night, two emergency vehicles collided, resulting in a serious injury to one official and a fatal injury to another. There is an ongoing investigation of the incident. The remainder of the event was postponed.

“Everybody in the racing community, and those affected, appreciates your thoughts and prayers.”
