More Open Wheel Showdown Sponsors Announced

LAS VEGAS — The sponsor lineup continues to grow for the Open Wheel Showdown with the Sunrise Heavy Haul INEX Legends and Sunrise Heavy Haul Bandoleros announced for this November’s event in Las Vegas.

The INEX action is backed by Bill Paddack of Battle Born Racing, long-time supporters of racing at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

“Sunrise Heavy Haul is very happy and proud to sponsor this part of the race, especially to promote the Legends and the Bandoleros for the 2026 Open Wheel Showdown,” Paddack said. “(We do this) to help sponsor the young racers moving up in the ranks. These are the racers of the future. They’re the ones who are going to be racing in the years to come. We’re happy and excited to promote that. Between Sunrise Heavy Haul and Battle Born Racing we work hard to help those classes achieve success. The racing is so exciting and it’s always tight racing.”

The Sunrise Heavy Haul INEX Legends and INEX Bandoleros join the $50,000-to-win Winged Sprint Cars, the Elliott’s Custom Trailers Non-Wing Sprint Cars, Larry Trigueiro Memorial for Super Modifieds, and the Klotz Synthetics Modifieds for the definitive short track asphalt event in the world.

Nearly 250 race teams have already registered to compete, with drivers from across North America racing for the richest jackpots in motorsports.

RV reservations have sold out in advance of the event. Host hotel reservations are available through the Southpoint Hotel & Casino. A kick-off gala will be held Wednesday night, November 4, at the Southpoint to open the Open Wheel Showdown week in Las Vegas.

The Open Wheel Showdown will be broadcast LIVE on SPEED SPORT 2, with replays on SPEED SPORT 1.
