TULARE, Calif. — The purse for next month’s Trophy Cup 31 at Thunderbowl Raceway will pay more than $310,000 over three nights Oct. 16-18.
Attracting the country’s best 360 winged sprint car racers and teams, the event pays feature purses in addition to an overall point fund as in past years. The event benefits the Rayce Rudeen Foundation.
The first two nights of the Tulare Trophy Cup at Tulare Thunderbowl Raceway powered by Abreu Vineyards pay $7,500 to the feature winner with $1,000 to start.
Saturday’s finale offers $10,000 to the winner with another $1,000 to every feature starter. The points champion at the end of Saturday night’s race will earn $30,000. The top 20 drivers in points will earn money from a $156,000 point fund.
