Sprint Rankings: Gravel On Top, Cap Henry Is Second

With his 10th victory of the season over the weekend at Wisconsin’s Cedar Lake Speedway, David Gravel continues to lead the National Sprint Car Rankings.

But he has a new challenger.

Ohio sprint car racing staple Cap Henry made his 20th start over the weekend, making him eligible for the national rankings.

Henry’s average finish of 4.0 in 20 races is just a smidge behind Gravel’s average finish of 3.564, which has come over 39 features.

Pennsylvania drivers Chase Dietz and Troy Wagaman Jr. rank third and fourth, respectively.

World of Outlaw racer Buddy Kofoid is fifth in the national rankings.

Fifty-eight drivers have reached the 20-start plateau to be eligible for the national rankings.

Aaron Reutzel has gained the top spot in the Mid-America region. A.J. Flick regained the lead in the PA-OH region.

Chase Dietz (Eastern), Tanner Holmes (Western), Cap Henry (Great Lakes), Ryan Timms (Great Plains) and Jesse Schlotfeldt (Northwestern) retained their regional leads.

One hundred and one drivers have combined to win 213 features thus far this season. Six hundred and 17 drivers have started at least one 410 winged psrint car feature.

Gravel’s 10 victories leads the nation.
