Sprint Rankings: 77 Drivers Eligible; Gravel On Top

Seventy-seven drivers have now reached the required 20 starts to be eligible for the National Sprint Car Rankings that are tabulated weekly by industry veteran Gary Spaid.

As he has for much of the season, World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series point leader David Gravel is at the top of the rankings. However, Ohio sprint car driver Cap Henry has closed the gap even further.

The two will go head to head during events in the Buckeye state this week.

Gravel boasts an average finish of 3.525 in 40 starts, while Henry has an average finish of 3.652 in 23 races.

Western Pennsylvania driver A.J. Flick has reached 20 starts and moved into the third spot, while Central Pennsylvania ace Chase Dietz and Buddy Kofoid complete the top five.

Anthony Macri (Eastern), Aaron Reutzel (Mid-America), Tanner Holmes (Western), Cap Henry (Great Lakes), Ryan Timms (Great Plains), A.J. Flick (PA-OH) and Jesse Schlotfeldt (Northwestern) retained their regional leads.

One hundred and nine drivers have combined to win 247 features thus far this season.
