Mark Smith Tops URC Sprint

PORT ROYAL, Pa. — Veteran sprint car driver Mark Smith added another line to his résumé Wednesday night at Port Royal Speedway.

Smith started fifth and drove to the front to win the United Racing Club 360 sprint car feature that shared the bill with Pennsylvania Speedweek at the half-mile track.

Smith beat Jason Shultz to the checkered flag, with Derek Locke finishing third.

Dallas Schott and super sportsman veteran Frankie Herr completed the top five.
