Macri Holds Steady Atop Eastern Sprint Rankings

Weather continues to hamper early season racing, but 35 winged 410 sprint car races have been run this year and four of the seven regions that make up the National Sprint Car Rankings have now opened.

Anthony Macri (Eastern), World of Outlaws point leader David Gravel (Mid-America), Bryce Lucius (Great Lakes) and Brent Marks, who won a POWRi race at Texas Motor Speedway, (Western) pace the three regional standings.

The national rankings will open when drivers begin reaching 20 starts.

Macri leads the Eastern region, while Gravel surged to the top in Mid-America after a win a U.S. 36 Raceway. Marks leads the Western stanza with Lucius having won the only race in the Great Lakes region.

Twenty-six drivers have won the 35 features run so far this season.

Macri and Tyler Courtney each have three victories to lead the nation.
