Larson Secures Hagerstown PA Speedweek Check

HAGERSTOWN, Md. — Kyle Larson came on strong during the closing laps to win Thursday night’s PA Speedweek sprint car feature at Hagerstown Speedway.

Larson earned $10,000 for winning the lone Speedweek race outside of the Keystone state. It was Larson’s 11th career Speedweek triumph and his sixth victory of the season.

Danny Dietrich started from the pole and led the first 26 laps of the half-mile race track, but Larson passed Dietrich on lap 27 and led the final four laps.

Dietrich held on to finish second, while Lucas Wolfe came home third.

Anthony Macri and Brock Zearfoss completed the top five.

Ryan Smith was the fast qualifier for the 33-car field with a lap of 15.199 seconds.

With three races remaining in Speedweek, Macri holds a 45-point lead over Dietrich.
