SARVER, Pa. — Ridge & Sons Racing plans to utilize a medical provisional for Tuesday night’s High Limit Racing event at Lernerville Speedway.
Aaron Reutzel, the driver of the team’s No. 87 sprint car, was injured in a crash Friday night at Eldora Speedway.
“We appreciate everyone reaching out to check-in on [Aaron Reutzel] condition,” team co-owner Brian Ridge said in a statement on Monday morning. “He’s going to get evaluated by a doctor and we’ll take things from there. The plan is to utilize a Medical Provisional for Lernerville Speedway on Tuesday then see what our timeline looks like.
“Our main focus is on Aaron’s health and safety. We’ll see what the doctor has to say and take things from there.”
Reutzel is currently third in the High Limit standings, 23 points behind leader Brad Sweet.
