ROSSBURG, Ohio — The July 17 Joker’s Jackpot sanctioned by High Limit Racing at Eldora Speedway will be broadcast live on FS1.
The broadcast — produced by FloSports — will introduce dirt racing to its widest audience in history.
The nationally broadcast event covers the Joker’s Jackpot finale of Kubota High Limit Racing winged sprint car action. The two-day event begins with the Double Down Duels at Eldora Speedway on July 16. Kubota High Limit Racing will payout more than $390,000 in purse money over the two days.
The broadcast team will be comprised of sprint car racing analysts and pundits with Chase Raudman and Blake Anderson in the booth and Tony LaPorta providing insight from the pit area.
With a two-hour broadcast window, Thursday’s show will include a pair of C-Mains, two B-Mains, and the 40-lap, $100,000-to-win Joker’s Jackpot feature event.
Utilizing a unique two-day format, points calculated from Wednesday’s Double Down Duels event results will set the starting line-ups for Thursday’s events.
“When Brad Sweet and I formed Kubota High Limit Racing, the goal was always to take the sport to a new level,” said Kubota High Limit Racing co-founder Kyle Larson. “FloRacing shares that vision with us and through their collaboration with FS1, along with Eldora Speedway, our drivers, teams and sponsors will be showcased live on a national network. More fans will have access to watch and, hopefully, create even more sprint car fans from this.”
Levi Jones, Eldora Speedway General Manager added, “Eldora Speedway is thrilled to bring the heart-pounding excitement of High Limit Racing sprint cars to a broader audience. The national coverage not only elevates the visibility of the sport but also places viewers front and center for the adrenaline-fueled action and unforgettable moments that define sprint car racing.”
“It has always been FloRacing’s goal to grow short track racing, and there’s no better way for us to do that than to distribute tentpole races across multiple channels with the inclusion of a major national television partner,” said Michael Rigsby, GM of FloRacing. “The world will get to see the power, speed, and ability of the best race car drivers on the planet in a prime-time window. This is a big deal for the sport.”
