VENTURA, Calif. — Michael Faccinto led all 30 laps in the USAC Western States Midget Series race at Ventura Raceway to take home the victory.
Despite only having the 7th fastest time in qualifying, Faccinto won his heat race, and never looked back when the green flag dropped on the feature.
Brody Fuson finished second after laying down the fastest lap in qualifying, with Blake Bower, Robby Josett, and Cade Lewis rounding out the top five.
The race had one caution flag on lap seven when Steve Paden flipped.
