ALGER, Wash. — Dirt Cup Week is knocking on the door and Jason Solwold is ready after his wire-to-wire win on Saturday night in the 360 sprint car division at Skagit Speedway.
Solwold was in a prime position to get his first feature win of the season after a four to one run in the heat race set him up with the pole for the main event. From the drop of the green flag, he had the Shaylen Raye Motorsports entry on point, easily cutting through slower traffic and showing speed in any lane he chose to drive around Skagit Speedway.
Defending track champion Trey Starks closed on him a couple times but Solwold never wavered in leading every lap for the feature win ahead of Starks and Colton Heath.
Jeff Westergard (IMCA modifieds) and Macie Logsdon (Sportsman Sprints) joined Solwold as main event winners on the night.
