GAFFNEY, S.C. — Zack Mitchell led all 40 laps to win Saturday night’s Ultimate Southeast Series dirt late model main event at Cherokee Speedway.
Mitchell earned $7,500 for taking the victory ahead of Trent Ivey. It was his 17th series victory and first win of the season.
Ben Watkins, Benji Hicks and Christian Thomas completed the top five.
Mitchell was also the fast qualifier for the 25-car field with a 15.20 second lap.
