Gustin Cashes Tri-City LM Check

GRANITE CITY, Ill. — Ryan Gustin banked $5,000 for winning Thursday night’s DIRTcar late model feature at Tri-City Speedway.

The event shared the bill with the USAC National Midget Championship.

Gustin inherited the lead on lap 11 when polesitter Kyle Larson, who was doing double duty in the late models and the midgets, smacked the turn-one wall.

Gustin led the remainder of the 30-lap event, beating Kyle Bronson to the checkered flag.

Dennis Erb Jr., Max Blair and Tanner English rounded out the top five.
