MILTON, Fla. — Billy Franklin inherited the victory in Friday night’s Battle at the Beach for the Southern All Star Series late models at Southern Raceway.
Ashton Winger took the checkered flag ahead of the field, but was disqualified when his car was too light at the scales.
Franklin was awarded the $3,000 prize on night one of the two-night event.
Dalton Cook, Bo Slay, Joseph Joiner and G.R. Smith completed the top five.
