INDIANAPOLIS — Veteran racer Katherine Legge is set for a double duty return to Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Legge, who has four Indianapolis 500 starts to her credit, will compete in both the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Cup Series at the legendary 2.5-mile oval on July 26-27
Live Fast Motorsports will field entries for Legge in both events with sponsorship from Desnuda Organic Tequila and Droplight. Legge will compete at Indy for the first time since the 2024 Indianapolis 500.
“It’s always an honor to drive at Indy, but having the chance to compete in both the Cup and Xfinity races thanks to Desnuda and Droplight is going to be epic,” Legge said. “After racing in the Indy 500 in ’23 and ’24, I definitely felt a void not being there this year.
“But adding races to my schedule is exactly what I’ve been working toward — competing in as many events as possible and logging as many laps as I can. I’m incredibly thankful to Team Chevy and my partners at Desnuda, Droplight, and e.l.f. Cosmetics for making my return to the Brickyard extra special.”
Legge has competed in 10 stock car races this season , highlighted by a top 20 finish in the Cup Series on the Streets of Chicago behind the wheel of the No. 78 Chevrolet.
She’s also slated to return to the Cup Series at Watkins Glen International on August 10 and Las Vegas Motor Speedway on October 12.
