RICHMOND, Va. — Niece Motorsports has new owners.
Josh Morris, CEO of DQS Solutions & Staffing, along with Greg Fowler, CEO of J.F. Electric, and family, have joined forces to become the majority owners of NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team.
While their companies have long supported Niece Motorsports as sponsors, this personal investment marks a deeper commitment to the team’s future. Niece Motorsports will continue to compete under its established name, building on a foundation of performance, passion and growth.
As part of this transition, key leadership roles within the organization have been elevated. Cody Efaw has been named President and CEO, while Amanda Efaw will take on the role of Chief Marketing Officer – a move that formalizes the hands-on leadership both have already brought to the team’s day-to-day operations over the past decade.
Phil Gould, Niece Motorsports’ longest-tenured and winningest crew chief, has been promoted to Director of Competition, where he will oversee the performance and coordination of all race teams, ensuring consistency in engineering, setup and execution across the organization, further strengthening Niece Motorsports’ competitive edge.
“This partnership is a continuation of the momentum we’ve built over the last several seasons,” said Al Niece, founder of Niece Motorsports. “I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished. This change allows me to return to the heart of why I got into racing – the passion and excitement of competition – while entrusting the business to partners who believe in our team and our people.”
Morris’ DQS Solutions & Staffing brings both business expertise and operational efficiencies to the team, having already provided strategic support across back-office functions such as HR and accounting since early 2025. The Fowlers are deepening their ongoing commitment to the sport with an increased investment that ensures long-term stability and opportunity.
“Our investment in Niece Motorsports is about growth,” said Josh Morris, CEO of DQS Solutions & Staffing. “We believe in this team, its people and its future. From pit crews to hospitality to content creation, we’re building a racing organization that delivers both on the track and in the boardroom.”
“Racing is in our DNA,” added Greg Fowler, CEO of J.F. Electric. “We’ve proudly supported Niece Motorsports as a sponsor, and we’re ready to help fuel this next chapter as owners. The foundation is strong, and the possibilities ahead are even stronger.”
Niece Motorsports will continue to be one of the few organizations in the sport that manufactures its vehicles, from chassis to bodies, entirely in-house. With this new investment, the team is expanding its marketing, PR, and hospitality offerings, and building out full-service video production and pit crew training capabilities – tools that benefit both the team and its partners.
“This isn’t about changing who we are; It’s about expanding on what we’ve built,” said Cody Efaw, new President & CEO. “We’ve got a team-first culture and a passion to win. With Josh and the Fowlers’ support, we’re doubling down on our strengths.”
