Marquez Masters Mugello For 93rd Win

MUGELLO, Italy — After a difficult fight, Marc Marquez captured his 93rd victory across all classes in Sunday’s Brembo Italian Grand Prix at Mugello.

The rider of the No. 93 Ducati fended off his brother Alex over the closing laps to win by 1.942 seconds and pad his point lead as he chases a seventh MotoGP crown.

It completed a weekend sweep for Marquez, who also earned his 100th pole and won Saturday’s Sprint Race.

Fabio Di Giannantonio made a late charge on his VR 46 bike to complete the podium.

Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) and Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing) completed the top five.

Marc Marquez leads Alex Marquez by 40 points in the standings.
