Marquez Counts To Six In The Netherlands

ASSEN, The Netherlands — Marc Marquez rode his Ducati to his sixth MotoGP triumph of the season in Sunday’s Dutch Grand Prix.

Marquez’s 68th MotoGP triumph also allowed him to extend his point lead to 68 markers over his brother Alex Marquez, who unfortunately crashed on lap six and fractured his left hand.

Marc Marquez took the lead from his teammate Francesco Bagnaia on lap five and kept the point throughout, despite having to hold back a late charge from Aprilia Racing’s Marco Bezzecchi.

Bagnaia completed the podium on the second Ducati.

Pedro Acosta took fourth for Red Bull KTM, while Maverick Vinales was fifth for Red Bull KTM Tech 3.
