INDIANAPOLIS — The organization formerly known as SFHR Development officially announced its new name: PFH Racing (Peterman Fisher Hartman Racing), signaling an exciting new chapter in the team’s history.
The rebrand reflects the team’s commitment to the growth of their on-track product offerings as well as a long-term vision for driver development in the sport. The new identity was developed following the addition of team owners, Chad and Emily Peterman, of Indianapolis, IN.
“This is more than just a name change – it’s a reflection of who we are and where we are going,” said Chad Peterman, President of Peterman Brothers. “Growing up on the south side of Indianapolis, it was always my dream to be a part of the Greatest Spectacle in Racing. This is just the start to our ambitions for the team to build and be back again at the Indianapolis 500.”
The new name will be accompanied by updated branding, including the new logo, colors and uniforms. All of which will be unveiled at the USF2000 races at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on May 8-9 during the Sonsio Grand Prix.
“We are proud of our history that began as SFR back in 2008 and has continued on to leave a race winning legacy in its path. Andy and I have known the Peterman family for decades and we are beyond excited to welcome their incredible business acumen that will be a vital part of the growth that we’ll need to be on racing’s largest stage again,” says Sarah Fisher O’Gara, founder and co-owner of PFH Racing. “Both Chad and Emily’s sharpened business backgrounds have already helped us plan ahead with a really exciting strategy that will go beyond winning on track.”
