This season brings optimism for Juncos Hollinger Racing. Following a shuffle of drivers aboard the team’s No. 78 Chevrolet after Augustin Canapino’s exit, JHR has found stability with Conor Daly and Sting Ray Robb.

Ahead of the March 2 season opener on the streets of St. Petersburg (Fla.), here’s a look at each driver:

Key Losses: Romain Grosjean (Prema Racing, reserve driver)

Key Additions: Conor Daly (Part-time with JHR), Sting Ray Robb (A.J. Foyt Racing)

No. 78 — Conor Daly

For the first time since 2022, Daly is set to contest the full NTT IndyCar Series schedule. Daly’s last two seasons have been a whirlwind as he’s piloted entries for Ed Carpenter Racing, Meyer Shank Racing, Dreyer & Reinbold Racing, Dale Coyne Racing and JHR.

However, Daly’s stellar drive at Wisconsin’s Milwaukee Mile perhaps won him the seat at JHR full time as he finished third in the first of two races at the short oval aboard the No. 78. He also earned a 10th-place result in the season finale at Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway.

With Daly exerting two stellar results with the team, he may be in for more as the season progresses.

No. 77 — Sting Ray Robb

Now on his third team in the last three years, Sting Ray Robb heads back to JHR after competing with the team in the Road to Indy program, where he won the 2020 Indy Pro 2000 championship.

While he’s struggled to produce consistent results, noticeable improvement was made last season with A.J. Foyt Racing.

He scored his first top-10 finish (ninth) at World Wide Technology Raceway in Illinois and led 23 laps in the Indianapolis 500 before placing 16th in the event.

With stability and a familiar team, Robb will look to improve more this season.
