SEALED UNDER PRESSURE: Sheldon Haudenschild Is Red Hot

With a series of big-money races ahead, Sheldon Haudenschild has picked the perfect time to go on a winning spree.

The driver of the No. 18 KCP Racing sprint car posted two victories in a three night span and has won four of the last seven World of Outlaws sprint car series features that have been contested.

Haudenschild turned in a dominant performance to win Thursday night’s feature at Michigan’s Hartford Speedway. He finished third to Buddy Kofoid on Friday at Wisconsin’s Wilmot Raceway, setting up a spectacular run to victory Saturday at Wilmot.

Haudenschild and Garet Williamson shared the front row for the 35-lap Larry Hillerud Memorial with Williamson taking the early lead. The pair traded the lead several times during the closing laps with Haudenschild earning his sixth victory of the season while collecting his 10th podium finish in the past 12 races.
