The margin of victory was only seven points as Logan Seavey finally got past Kody Swanson to win the USAC Silver Crown Series championship.
The battle came down to the final lap of the season, with Seavey finishing ahead of Swanson to secure the title at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.
Driving the Rice Motorsports-Abacus Racing No. 22, Seavey won three times on dirt tracks and outdistanced Swanson, who also won a trio of races aboard the Doran-Binks Racing No. 77.
Justin Grant, C.J. Leary and rookie-of-the-year Kaylee Bryson completed the top five in the standings.
