MOORESVILLE, N.C. – While it will be several weeks before drivers begin acquiring enough starts for the National Sprint Car Rankings to be tallied, there have been six 410 winged sprint car events run this season with six different winners.
Two of the seven regions have opened the season with points already being tallied with three races in the Eastern and Western regions.
David Gravel, one of three World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series winners at Florida’s Volusia Speedway Park, leads the Eastern region standings.
Garen Linder, one of three drivers to win at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in January, leads the Western region.
