INDIANAPOLIS — Clauson Marshall Racing has announced its plans to replace Tyler Courntey while he continues to heal from injuries suffered in a crash Thursday night at Eldora Speedway.
Cole Duncan will drive the NOS Energy No. 7bc Tuesday night at Pennsylvania’s Lernerville Speedway, which is the next race on the High Limit Racing scheduled.
Giovanni Scelzi, who left KCP Racing last Thursday, will join the team for the remainder of the season, while Courtney recovers from back surgery.
“We are happy to report that Tyler Courtney had successful back surgery for an injury that occurred at Eldora Speedway on July 17th,” the team said in a statement. “Although the injury will take some time to heal, we expect a full recovery and can’t wait to have Tyler back in the NOS Energy 7bc once he has fully healed.”
