TULSA, Okla. — Jonathan Beason would hold court out front to earn his second career feature win battling at Port City Raceway, with the POWRi National and West Midget Leagues, on the final night of the POWRi Sooner SPEEDWeek, after leading 14 of the 39 laps.

Launching the feature field would find the high-point qualifier Drake Edwards and Kale Drake leading the field as the green flag dropped, with Edwards gaining the initial advantage on the opening four laps.
Taking the top spot for twelve laps, Drake would hold the point of the field until a mid-race caution would halt the field, with the leader, Drake, coming to a stop in turns one and two after contact with Beason inheriting the front of the field.
Keeping the leading pace over the final fourteen laps, Jonathan Beason would not be denied in claiming his first POWRi National Midget League feature win since the 2019 racing season as Brecken Reese placed a close runner-up with Andrew Felker moving into the final podium placement late.
“This feels so good to get Jody a National Midget win,” said Beason. “The car felt good in the beginning but really came into its own around the mid-race. I hate to win like this over Kale, but that’s tight-quarter racing at Port City when it is this technical.”
Staying in the hunt for the front all event, Kyle Jones would finish fourth with Karter Sarff rounding out the POWRi National and West Midget Leagues top five
