ANDERSON, Ind. — The third edition of the 2025 National Pavement Sprint Car Rankings was released Wednesday evening and Kody Swanson has assumed the top spot.
Swanson was the 2024 National Pavement Sprint Car Rankings No. 1 ranked driver.
When the last edition of the rankings was announced on May 12, 15-year-old Colton Bettis had a narrow half-point lead over Swanson for the top spot.
Beginning June 12, Swanson has been on a tear. In that span he has captured two USAC Silver Crown wins, a 500 Sprint Car Tour victory, and a second-place finish with Must See Racing.
Swanson now has a 14-point lead over Bobby Santos III, who has moved into second place on the heels of three wins that that started on May 31 through June 21.
During that stretch he captured two Must See Racing victories and a lone 500 Sprint Car Tour triumph.
Bettis has dropped to third place due to a stretch of bad luck and a handful of DNFs.
Seven of the top 15 drivers in the most recent rankings will be competing in the Sprint Car Spectacular this weekend July 4-5 at Colorado National Speedway in Dacono, Colo.
